Child Protection Policy
Market Drayton
Swimming Club has adopted policies for working with children & young people
set out by the ASA, in conjunction with the NSPCC.
-
All coaching staff, committee members
& poolside helpers are registered with the ASA, who as part of their
child protection procedure maintain a child protection list. The purpose
of this list is to advise clubs of people who should not work with
children, because they have a criminal conviction, which could put
children at risk.
-
All coaching staff & pool side
helpers must attend a child protection workshop as part of their
induction. These workshops introduce best practice techniques for working
with children & young people
-
All members of the committee have had
copy of ASA Child protection in swimming Procedures & Guidelines &
have signed to say that they have adopted policy
